The purpose of the consultation events was to provide a voice to young people in the shaping of the proposals.

Events were held in October 2007, in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. Thirty three children and young people aged between 8 and 16, with experience of domestic abuse, took part in the events.  Other young people with connections to Women’s Aid were involved in the planning and facilitation of the events.
